One month since I left...

Hi guys,

It has been already one month since I left Germany to fly to Singapore and afterwards to Sydney.

I already settled in quite well and I got used to drive our car. That was challenging in the beginning because Australians drive on the left side. I was surprised how fast I adjusted myself to this circumstances but I still have to think a lot while driving.

At work I am really busy because we have a loooot of work. There are so many new employees we have to set up in the system and on the same time we see a lot of employees resigning. In between we have a lot of transfers and remuneration changes to proceed. You see, there are a lot of things to do and that keeps us busy.

Concerning sightseeing we did not do a lot because we are partying every weekend :-)! Girls use to wear really short skirts and HIGHheels to go out and honestly, I think we Germans can´t compeed. This is just cracy and some of them can´t even walk properly or sit down somewhere.

Moreover, I just found out that a package of cigaretts costs 14€ in Australia. That is just shocking but of course it makes people smoke less. The same occurs to alcohol. It is more expensive than in Germany and you just get alcohol in special bottel shops. That makes you drink less because it requires some time to get a drink from a bottle shop and on the same time it is expensive.

Last weekend we went to Sydney´s most famous beach - Boni - but unfortunately it was ways to cold to swim or even to lay on the sand enjoying the sun. So we decided to go back home after enjoying a nice coffee.

The upcoming weekend I planned a Tour through the Opera House. Moreover, I wanna do a Whale Watching tour and a trip to Hunter Valley (vine region and vine tour) on the next weekends.

I hope you are all doing well and I am happy about hearing from you and getting some news.
BIG HUG...
